Hello friends,
Looking on feedback on how to go forward with this model. Just finished the basecoat, and I was pretty pleased with it until I got to the shield and I feel like I kinda messed it up, tried different colors and it seems I did too many layers on the blue and got those weird textures. Also started the red with a contrast (baal red) but was not too pleased with it and so I went over it with a few layers of mephiston red, not sure how I feel about it now.
Maybe not a big deal since the king will be on top and probably obscuring most of this but still looking on advice on how to fix this, also on which shade to use with the blue and maybe red (do I even shade the red ? ). Also I would very much appreciate overall feedback and suggestions, still very much new to the hobby (started this summer)
