Basically I think the black looks like a black hole. I don’t think it’s a lost cause yet but I’m still figuring things out. Do y’all think drybrushing the black with gray and then maybe off white to bring out the details again will fix it? Or should I just paint it gray like the rest?

Yes, that would work, or you can pick the details out without dry brushing, do some edge highlighting.

Drybrushing is easier but edge highlights will look better if done well? This is my first box of minis so I’m trying to use it as a learning experience
