Making my own lite homebrew chapter called Astra boreus that is a mix of ultramarines and spacewolfs! Would love to get some tips and help me make my miniatures as good as possible! Please be nice I’m very new to this

I started with this but I thought my marines was way to bright so I tried to make the lighter parts smaller and the darker parts stick out more

Left is the new one and the right is the old more bright one

But I am happy with my dreads tho

I suck tho at the more metal parts and i dident know if I wanted to do NMM or metalics because I wanted it to be a very black metal! But I don’t know how to make a good looking Matt black metal
