Hi, my AK paints are always too thinned event from pot, not water added, on wet palette from redgrass and green stuff world, i was thinking i was me that i add too much water on sponge and maybe it is but it happened on dry palette too, is so thinned i struggle to paint a base coat, is the brand bad at this ? I don't remember this kind of behavior with Vallejo paint. (Even the AK black undercoat is sooo thinned for my airbrush, it's not even usable...)

I soak paint on paper towel but it's the same, this got me crazy, it with all my AK paint, of course i shake well

Strange, I don't have this issue with my AK paints. Maybe it's a bad batch or something?

Can you share a picture or product number for one of them?

I just used a bunch of AK paints in my latest project and didn't notice any issues with thinning. Maybe it's more that these paints in particular have poor coverage? I don't own these ones in particular but paint lines often have weaknesses where some of the paints are just worse than others.

I would definitely expect for example, any yellow to have poor coverage, especially over black primer. But the darker colors should be fine.

What about youtube reviews of these paints? Do they behave like the reviews?

I'd record something real quick on my hobby desk right now but the whole thing is taken over by a non-mini-painting project

Hum, but I think definitely my wet palette has too much water, but when I remove water is got dry really fast and don't resolved the problem

Is your paper wet on the top? Because I use a RGG palette and flood it (there's water pooled around the sponge), but the top of the paper is dry. I use the reusable paper.

Maybe just check those youtube reviews. See what's what.

Yes paper on top, just humid on touch, I don't see water pool on it

If the paper is wet on top, that's too much water in my experience. I soak the sponge/foam, then lay the paper on top, and remove any water on top of the paper.

But that applies to all paints for me, not just AK.

I mean barely humid, not to dry but not to wet, well I'll try different water saturation levels on spong
