Tamiya acrylic handpainting

I'm using these Tamiya acrylics for a car kit i bought a while ago. I bought some brushes as well, but is there anything i should do to the paint, or buy, that will help achieve a smooth and even finish for handpainting?

Tamiya thinner definitely helps. Are you using it to cover broad areas or just to touch up small details? Because it's alcohol based, it's a little harder to work with than some army paint or Vallejo

Thanks i will look it up. I'm mostly using them for small parts like tail lights, indicators, and some mid size. Nothing too big lile the body etc

Should be fine then. It can be difficult to get smooth coverage with a brush on large areas like body panels.
