On pictured models ive used
vallejo spray can Gloss varnish > pin wash > ak ultra matte spray can.
Do they have visible texture that should not be present or am i going mad?
If so - is it possible to salvage them or stripping is my only option?

Yeah there is definitely texture there if you zoom in. Hard to say if it was due to varnish - do you have before pics? Could be texture buildup from the paint itself.
Honestly if it’s just one marine I’d leave it and move on to your next model - prob not worth the effort to strip and redo, only you are looking that closely at it.

@rustic mango thanks. Texture wasnt present before, there were just airbrush paint layers. its whole 10 man squad 😦 i wonder if this is how 2 varnishes should look like on miniatures
