Just got art supplies to begin my journey of learning to paint minis!
Began with trying to zenithal prime the mini I’m gonna practice with, but I’m unsure if I should go with a second pass with white primer to really brighten up the topside, or if it’s good as-is?

What’s the purpose of the zenithal? Are you painting with contrast style paints?
If that is the case, you can’t really go too bright. I would move all the way to pure white. You can always darken it with contrast paint, but can’t brighten it.
If you’re not painting with contrast it doesn’t matter, you’ll cover the zenithal anyway, it’s just there as a guide.
