You’re getting all of that for your bday?
Have you ever painted or built miniatures before?
Are you wondering which paint set to get and which model or..?
which paint set
i have
I mean that’s like 2 years of models worth haha you should probably get less.
Similarly, don’t go all in on a paint set unless you know you like the brand.
Generally I recommend folks get a few bottles from different ranges while they figure out what they like about the brands and it helps control costs cause you just buy for your current project.
Like if you’re buying those army boxes you’re like gonna use more of fewer colours, than you will have an use for singles of dozens of colours.
Solid brands are:
citadel, ak3rd, proacryl, vallejo game, vallejo model, army painter fanatic.
You can’t really go wrong with any smattering of those.
Pro Acryl set is going to be enough to set you up forever technically.
Vallejo is top tier as well, just harder to assemble a set of 60+. I'd stick with Game Color to start.
AK is arguably better than PA or Vallejo for some people but same deal as Vallejo for a set of 60+ paints
Scale is good paints if you are looking for less opacity but that's not for everyone.
I'd def agree with him, and get some from multiple ranges to see which you like more. I went full Pro Acryl because they are made 10 miles from my house but I use like 5 other brands of paint regularly despite not "needing" anything
problaby lol plus citadel doesn't have paint kits i think not 100% sure but i was looking at army painter or citidel or pro acryl
