Hi there!
I've used some colour shift paint on a drukhari talos and I love how it looks, but I'm wondering if applying oil into the recesses and a little metallic edge wear to the raised edges will ruin the look? Does anyone have experience with these and know if it works well or not? 🙂
There's a coat of gloss varnish over the top too, for what that's worth

Paint doesn't break minis, so you can just try it and see if you like it. Alternatively, if you have a sacrificial mini you can try it on that.
If it helps, it does sound like a good plan to me
