I've been going back and forth with Skin, to the point that I started to avoid it. However, to improve I go my self some kroot to paint.
I am currently at the 'add yellow to some green' stage of the skin. However I find I am missing something.
I guess I just need to continue to push the green/yellow more. To then see what needs to be improved?

Made the green a bit brighter.
I think the issue I have Is the shift from one colour shade to another.

instead of highlighting up to a stronger yellow, consider going the other way and shade down. Shade down with some blue, or if you want to get fancy you can add little bits of red to take it towards a brown
right now I am getting a strong "green blob" feeling from the skin, so getting some other tones in there apart from just the green would make it more "alive"

Purple is also a nice shadow colour for green.
Also take the face and the left arm highlights further, but leave the legs where they are currently. This will draw more attention to the focal point of the mini.

Same, as I tried to keep the skin to merge into the different highlights, but it has removed the 'clarity' of the parts. Will glaze over some areas to darken then, whcih in turn makes the highlights stronger.

Good idea. Will want to make a focus. Than making everything have the same 'Volume'
I progressd with the other areas. Which has helped with clarity, however will go over the skin more.

I find purple and dark blue is my key undercoating colours atm.
