So this is the picture that I would want to replicate

I’m interested in how they do blending on the blues and maybe what techniques/colors that looks like? I’m a very beginner painter and I know won’t achieve the same result but I would still like to try

This sort of looks like Corvus black and temple guard blue but I can’t figure out the color in between

You almost there, actually. Thinner paint and more glazing for transistions

Glazes work best with darker colors because of the pigment size. Blue counts as a dark color and it should work fine since you want a bit of the blue on the black.

Go from the area you want the lightest amount of color on and pull to the darkest portion
