#How do I make icicles for my base?

I am about to start working on my ice dragon's base. It features a little overhang that I would love to put some icicles on/under. Thing is, I've never done that before. I'd like them to look clear-ish and not to chunky. Any advice/tutorials/ material recommendations greatly appreciated!
