Feels like the purple skin tone on the top is too uniform

Ok, so since you asked for criticisms. I feel like the teeth and spine bones are a lost opportunity. One trick with painting them is to have the brush strokes parallel the ridge lines that would normally be present. That way if a brush stroke shows, it will look like a ridge line. The whole thing could benefit from darker shadows, so an oil wash where you paint it on, then wipe most of it back off with makeup sponges would make the highlights pop more.

Painted the base, added final touches to edges, and gave it a varnish. It was fun but I'm tired boss.
