I am having a lot of fun painting Vampire's Embrace (by Hex Models). At the moment, I am slowly working my way through all the metal parts. I decided to make two small modifications to the original sculpt: removing the necklace and sanding of most of the eyebrows.

The first layer of colors were done with the Airbrush. The Phtalo Blu turned out more purple over the black primer but it wasn't hard to push it more toward blue with the brush so far. This is the palette I've been using so far (+ Scale75 Dark Prussian Blue and Kimera Cold Armor for the cloak to save me some time mixing and allow me to focus more on painting the texture) I might add more colors to the palette down the line.

Thank you! Given the subject of the model, I wanted to stick to an overall darker/moody without too look and color palette.

More progress on the transparent cloth, hair and skin

Started to paint the vampiric skintones to have some contrast to the "alive" skintones moving forward.
