Good evening all. This is my first fully finished model. I’m feeling as though I’m doing decently with the hobby so far, but I’d like to build a strong base with good brush skills and solid fundamentals.

I am feeling good about my use of contrasts and shading—I’m concerned that I should be highlighting and taking more time with small details.

Any advice or input would be appreciated! Thank you 🙏🏽

very good job on the finished model. imo, you're right on the nose with where to focus, taking the extra time to highlight some key details does a lot to make a model pop

Love the skin on this dude. This guy looks super awesome! I see that a red wash was added and its a bit heavy for a finish, if you're attempting blood try adding a more variety of dark reds to help make blood look thick and fresh but also highlights for glare after paint had dried. Otherwise highlights on the tips of the cape, nose bone, nd maybe the weapon if thats what you're going for
