just looking for general feedback on what i can improve

Main thing standing out is the yellow face. It looks a little unnatural in color and appears to have a sculpted mustache that's the same color as the skin.

Next is neatness. Try to have every color stay within it's own area.

Once you've these things covered you're in a pretty good spot. Time to look into shadows and highlights if you want to go that extra mile.
