Hello all! Thanks for clicking!
Also, I'm not looking for this specific flame style, just the color scheme.
I have, roughly, the necessary paints. I'm curious as to most efficient NEXT steps involved. What I believe to be correct is :
- Base (A mix of ultramarine blue and black seems to work well when I test it, though I think I'm missing an additional hue needed)
- Wash
- Detail (the beige and fushia)
- Proft?
Couple questions:
- Do I need to do a wash if the primer is black?
- Every time I need new paint for base after the brush is spent do I have to keep mixing to get the right color or is there a way to premix a set amount of paint in order to keep consistent shades and save time?
- How long do you usually let paint dry for each step?
Thanks for any help in advance. Feel free to DM me questions on anything I need to clarify.
EDIT:
I just realized how cool the cockpit looks gold so I'll likely do that as well and put metals on certain joints too.
Should this be the last step?
ALSO, I have a can of ultramarine blue primer, could I apply another layer of primer and then hope the wash darkens it closer to the the shade of blue on the left?
