first time doing flesh color

I have bugmans glow (currently in the mini) as well as cardigan flesh tone layer and kislev flash layer. Any advice to making a solid lighter Caucasian flesh tone

Mix the paint with a lighter colour like a white or do a layer or 2 of white in the head before applying the skin tone
