Paint some Undead, be it skeletons, zombies, liches.. whatever. If it has come back from the grave, it qualifies!

STANDARD HOUSEKEEPING RULES :

You may prep your mini, this includes, gap fill, assemble, purchase and prime ahead of time. Paint should only be applied during the time-frame of the PAL.

Anyone can join in on the fun. Just share your mini first and paint within the time frame. Request your points in the point request channel by following the pinned post on how to ask for points.

You can't submit the same mini for multiple PALs or other multiple events. And units minis can't be split among the different PALS if they are identical .

Have fun and be nice to each other. Share some wips and some laughs.

lich is a yes.
Looking up brain collectors... in D&D "Brain collectors, or neh-thalggu in their own language, were a race of creatures found across multiple planes". They count as an aberration, not undead, so I would say that one wouldn't count for this challenge

I also magnetized the king's feet to the dais (want to be able to use him on dragon or chariot), and added a bunch of putty to the bottom, so that I have more surface area for the glue to hold once its painted and gets put together permanently

I was thinking of doing an OSL thing around my guys eyes, same color, but I've never done it and don't want to fix it if I screw it up lol

You can get away with a pretty simple thing with eye osl if you want. Need to make it fairly subtle, but basically just paint the eye socket white, then paint it with a saturated contrast or other transparent paint of your choosing. Then put a dot of white or near white of the same tone in the middle

And if you're feeling wild you can highlight the bottom edge of the socket with a light version of the color too

Yeah. Trying to make it "big" usually ends up looking pretty weird, the light isn't really supposed to shine much further than the eye socket itself

yup, thats what I do as well, basecoat eye with an off white, cover in diluted Moot Green, once its dried I thin a green contrast paint with water and drop it where the eyeball meets the socket (can leave this out if its a hollow eye socket), and then add a yellow green to make the bright part
