Bring out your orks, goblins, grots, gobbos, trolls, and other verdant colored figures to paint!

July - August

STANDARD HOUSEKEEPING RULES :

You may prep your mini, this includes, gap fill, assemble, purchase and prime ahead of time. Paint should only be applied during the time-frame of the PAL.

Anyone can join in on the fun. Just share your mini first and paint within the time frame. Request your points in the point request channel by following the pinned post on how to ask for points.

You can't submit the same mini for multiple PALs or other multiple events. And units minis can't be split among the different PALS if they are identical .

Have fun and be nice to each other. Share some wips and some laughs.

Damn. Only units I own that are from the gloomspite spearhead box are the troggoths. I own a ton of most types of Kruleboy/ironjawz models and a few gloomspite monster units like the arachnarok if you'd consider picking something from them?

You can join any PAL anytime before the last day is over. You just have to do all painting in the 2 month runtime.

Sometimes to go green, you gotta start red. Gonna try this as an underpainting technique.

This was a result I got from glazing green over pink, so I think it will be a fun experiment to try it, and maybe even try a wet blend of red and green if I want to get funky.

To me it seems that the problem is more in the leg region, it seems that there was a sudden change in value and because it is a larger area it was too apparent, on the toes and even on the face or chest, witch are smaller, it seems to be much better, perhaps apply a medium tone between the two layers reducing the coverage area of this last light, perhaps then one last light more and after some glazing to soften the transitions. I hope you are not annoyed by my intrusion. 🥰

Thank you, I'm glad you liked it! I chose to use dark colors and small areas of light, I wanted to give the impression that it was a nighttime environment. For the base, my idea was to use a dark background with a moon, I even thought about making the shadow marked on the floor, but in the end I ended up abandoning the idea and left this piece of wall made with a wine cork and a piece of putty marked with a GSW roller. you can still get regular points if you request them, but to get event points I think you're supposed to show the pre/post. I never bother, and enter these anyway and just don't collect the points

Little bit fiddly but I think the result is worth it, I still have work to do on the base, just very proud of the camo as it’s my first attempt :)) It was a headache, I am never doing it again!
