The new Skaven models are coming out in July so come on and paint some up (or other rats/rodents that you might have lying around). Just please, have them be made of plastic or resin.

STANDARD HOUSEKEEPING RULES :

You may prep your mini, this includes, gap fill, assemble, purchase and prime ahead of time. Paint should only be applied during the time-frame of the PAL.

Anyone can join in on the fun. Just share your mini first and paint within the time frame. Request your points in the point request channel by following the pinned post on how to ask for points.

You can't submit the same mini for multiple PALs or other multiple events. And units minis can't be split among the different PALS if they are identical .

Have fun and be nice to each other. Share some wips and some laughs.

Can never have to many rats anyway. Sure mr GreySeer won't mind a buddy. And I can understand. I almost made the same mistake (and have done before with the mini-bustalong) and picked up my rat-dude instead of my June planned projects because it is a simple fast one to do. Put him back on the shelf after priming so he will have to wait all primed black for a while longer. But now I really want to paint him haha.

I almist always pin metal minis. Especially things like that, big with little contactpoint. Had it come undone way to often just glueing in the past.

I'll have to be a little more inventive. The backpack has a hole easily twice the size of the peg, and it's super deep, so there isn't much to pin into or I'll bust out the back of the banner pole 😕

I usually fill the bigger hole with greenstuff (or likewise) then first and press the peg into it to get a snug fit. And then still pin once cured. The pin is more to keep it from moving ever so slightly and loosening the glued connection. Small pins usually help a lot already.
