Tips to clean this mould line?

I've been cleaning these mould lines, but it's been hours and I've only got 2 minis cleaned. Is there an easier way to clean them with a hobby knife? It's also not a clean line, it's more like one part of the mini overlaps the other, so I have to grind it down until it's smooth

Are you referring to the pistol holster? I'm not sure but maybe it's a detail of the sculpture itself, if it's made of leather it's quite common for there to be a seam at that point.

There's also the mould line running down his leg, that's been tough to remove

I did some research on the minis, and it turns out they are made of soft plastic which I heard is harder to remove then hard plastic. Do you have any tips for soft plastic?
