Hey there! Trying to paint a new mini (A treant, a DnD creature) and somehow I am not that happy with it…I will change the base, put some gras + tufts on it to make it different from the creature itself, but it looks just really dull…any suggestions? Thanks a lot!

Maybe a dark/flesh wash over most parts except the face?

dark wash seconded. When dry, you liven it up again by drybrushing with one or more lighter colours, leaving the dark wash in the recesses. Then maybe you might want to try lightly drybrushing random colours here and there to make the colour less uniform.
Or you could go the other way and (heavy) drybrush different colours on what you have here, before the wash. This will be more subtle.

You can also make some foliage by using bits of fine sponge that you paint to look like leaves
