I wanted to gather some ideas or feedback. My current Tyranid army is inspired by the vintage Tyranids' clown fiesta look, and I love how they are turning out so far. However, I am considering the use of an oil wash to create more intense contrast and shadows and to tone down the overall model a bit while still maintaining the mini's vibe. Any feedback is appreciated, including suggestions for the color of the oil wash. I feel that a black wash might be too extreme; instead, I'm thinking of using a purple or a dark blue wash. might also play with the idea of using Monument hobbies Newsh Thank you all for your time.
