I took the screenshot from here https://www.instagram.com/p/CmZPv_2I7fj/?hl=es
looks like it's built up from an orange
Orange or even magenta, yellow really like magenta basecoat and mixing 🙂
yea, that wworks to but i dont see any on these minis
I saw somewhere that people airbrush yellow on top of magenta shadows, it's turned to nice orange. You are right there's no pure magenta anywhere ☝️
I have tried this but it doesnt really look the same, I will pm the author and come back here, thanks everyone
I think magenta would be too pinkish? I’m in the “Red>Orange>Yellow” layering camp. Then wash with black shade and highlight with a light orange. My guess anyway
Let me show you my yellow Yu Jing Tag.
He's not finished yet. But I did some underpainting.
First I primed him in pink
Then undershot some magenta into the shadows.
Then I sprayed a flesh color from above
Then gave him an all over coat of Kimera warm Yellow.
For highlights I mixed a cold yellow with alot of white to make an Ice yellow.
Thank you!
I actually came to the hobby help section to ask how to panel line him. This is actually my first time painting yellow although I have alot of experience painting orange.
This yellow is magenta over a zenithal, then going back with magenta + white and then white. Then imperial fist yellow contrast sprayed over the top, and yriel yellow and ice yellow glazed on by brush
Amazing
Another pink to yellow.
How many yellow layers does it get
assume its thinned?
