Color scheme help

So i wanted to paint this model with a blue cape and purple armor with a silver trim. I don't know how I'm feeling about it here. I originally wanted to do the box art colors for these guys because I like blue and gold, but i wanted to make it more my own thing.
I wanted to go for a cooler tone and a more magic vibe.
Any advice?

If you add something like crimson to the purple it will make it deeper and probably make a nice shade color. You could also try adding a red wash to the same effect

Just over the purple for the red wash. If you use it over the blue it will make purple. Might be neat though
