Best advice I’ve ever seen that resonated with me personally was from one of the dudes on this discord that said you have to focus on each detail/bit like it’s own miniature. If you’re working on … a gun, think about the gun as its own mini you’re submitting somewhere, and don’t move on until that one detail is the best you can make if it
I’d start with picking a model or by picking an inspiration piece
I havent choosen my miniature yet but ive got contestants
What's the format? Set number of hours?
No, just have it done by saturday
First thing is to pick the mini then, post them here if you’re stuck
Choose this guy
Is he to complicated for 1 week?
That is a difficult mini!
1 week? you may just wanna pick something and go not a lot of time to dilly-dally
Ok another altarnativ is the cosargi nightguard model
I’d do that one
Ok
Im painting him in a monlight scene with a campfire from the oposite direktion from the moonlight and i think im basikly finsihed with the first step of highlighting everything in that light, does everything look alright
Looks good
