Hello, as the title says, total noob here.

It's my first "mini" (base is an heroforge one resized, 100 mm wide). I've only applied the primer and the "base" for now. I don't know where I should going now, should I already go for the washes, or should I put more time on the details? I've never done washes before and I've no real washes, so I thought about simply using darker paint and use a lot of water, is it okay?
I know the eyes look goofy, I don't know what to do about it.

I'm not looking to do the best painting EVER as I'm a beginner, and it already took way more time than what I thought (about 6 hours or more I would say? From what I saw on Youtube, it's seems a lot for me, is it?

Hey Weiths! Where you go and how far, and how long, is entirely your choice.
Yes, using a darker colour with water is fine to wash. On a 32mm mini, bow would be a good time to use some.
On this large mini, you have a lot of flat surfaces where it won't do good. The best candidate is the feet with an ochre / dark ochre brown wash, because the wrinkles will receive it efficiently.

If you want to talk about the eyes, well it is harder for me because this is not a human, so I am less used to it, but still the pupils are a bit small. I don't know if you have used an off-white instead of a white? But you could use thinned red paint to give them a less eerie look, trying to make their contour darker (it will help).

Hey! Welcome to the hobby..

Take your time painting this mini. These are by no means quick in process. You can save a bit of time by speed painting everything ( using speed paints/ contrasts or express colors depending on the name it has by the paint company) .
