For people in the US, how are you getting your kolinsky brushes? With the Ban on the hair and all I’ve been finding very hard to find brushes and even heard some people saying some sellers are selling fake kolinsky brushes.

What's changed recently is we can't order Windsor Newton from Jacksonsart.com, which was a highly recommended source due to the occasional sale and Black Friday specials. You should still be able to get Raphael and DaVinci brands. Prices are going up, but that's for everyone
This isn't due to a ban, just their distribution practices. We can still get them from US distributors like Blick, but they don't want their sellers selling outside their region

Got it. I wanted to try something different, cause the WN7 I got tbh was kinda disappointing… I bought it from Amazon, maybe was a bad batch. I’ll check those art retailers you’ve recommended. Thanks a bunch!

I checked those stores out and I’ll try the Raphael #1, they’re cheaper than WN right now. I’ll save those stores here and next time I might try the WN again to compare
