Guys, i am curious about ways of speeding up partial cleaning of airbrush.
Usually i put cleaner inside, clean paint from sides of pot with earbud then back-flow/spray in cup until cleaner is no longer have paint in it. It is rather exhausting to do so because it takes 3-4 back-flow runs.
Am i doing something inefficient or is it only way to do cleaning?

I half fill the cup with water, swirl it around the sides with an old dead brush, tip it, wip with a paper towel to get most of the residue, then backflow with water, tip it, backflow with ipa, use an earbud to get the needle tip while i have the ipa there, tip it, rinse with water, final backflow to check it's clear, tip and then spray the last couple drops out into the cleaning jog/holder thingy

no, i was under the impression there's potential for clogs that you don't need to risk (yes it's there while painting but you can't avoid that) and even if not, it's a lot quicker to just tip it out the side

will try, then i find out that i can clean needle with wet brush i have never stumbled into clogging situation

as i say not sure if that's true but figured why risk it when tipping it out the top is quicker anyway

It should yes. But sometimes I rinse it just with water 😊

thanks for advices, will try spilling water immediately from the pot instead of pushing it through airbrush

wait were you blowing a full cup worth of cleaner through 3-4 times each time you did a clean? No wonder you were struggling

you don't need to use cleaner at all between colors

#

Just put water in it and spray it through until it's clear

#

don't clean the sides or anything

#

or yes mix water up in the cup and dump it out

#

you only need to actually clean at the end of the session
