Does anyone know how to best strip paint from Warmachine models? I'm not entirely sure what they are made of, but my guess is something like plastic. They don't feel like resin, but I could be mistaken.

Seems to depend on the specific model according to their website. Some are plastic some are resin.

Try Iso first. Whatever the plastic/resin, Iso won't alter it

And iso can damage resin if I’m not mistaken

You will have to leave resin in iso a long time to see some swelling or softening. Not a few minutes

how would a normal stripping be performed with iso then?

should I have the model submerged in iso for a period of time, or rather wash it with iso?

Soak it in iso a few minutes (3-5), then brush with a brush (like an old tooth brush or similar thing, not a too soft brush but also not a too strong).
Repeat until everything is gone.
On a recently painted mini, it usually takes 2, maybe 3 soaks.
A bit more on a mini where the paints had lots of time to harden.

Thx @exotic canopy ! Will try it out! Should I fully submerge it? Will iso also break superglue or similar?

Yeah, soaking means submerging.
There's a good chance superglue bonds will be affected.
