provide more detail

why isn't it working to you, what do you mean, where are you applying the glaze in this picture etc.

Between the yellow and the brown

Okay, what isn't working about it, like what do you mean

did you just make two colors, yellow and brown with a solid line between them?

#

It's ideal if you layer, so do transitional layers from brown, up to yellow

#

and then glaze between them to smooth

#

what you've got here is going to require dozens of layers of yellow to blend from the brown to the yellow because it's too harsh of a transition

there's a video about layering in here

So the thing to understand about glazing is its very subtle. It is working, you can see it blurring the line but it's very subtle

#

So try doing a 50-50 mix of the brown and yellow and paint that between, or even better - over the brown and layer up

#

The yellow will be easier to do

#

Because painting yellow over black is - well - as hard a transition as brown to yellow

Think of it like building a wall. Glazing is like Mortar. Layers are like bricks

okay, well, yeah you need to mix the brown and yellow and layer up to pure yellow
