Hi fellow hobbyist - I am trying to work with UV resin epoxy from GS. However each time i use a dye, the result has bubble in it. How to you break them ?

I found methods but for large quantities https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=elKWS1jTf1o Any ideas ?

Today I ’m going to introduce 5 easy ways to get bubbles out of resin

  1. Wait for the bubbles to disappear
  2. Use hot water of about 60 degrees to accelerate the bubbles out from the resin
  3. Use heated coasters to accelerate the bubble out from resin, it is very simple
  4. Use lighter or hair dryer to heat the resin surface to eliminate air bubb...

A method for normal resin casting is to put it under pressure, which doesn't get rid of the bubbles but instead reduces their size to the point where they can't be seen. That's a bit difficult for UV resin though, since it requires UV light in order to cure. If you're using UV resin you will likely need to do small layers, using a little torch to break up the bubbles for each layer as you pour, then cure them layer by layer.
