Oil wash using Water Mixable Oils

Howdy folks, I've watched a few videos on using Oil Washing miniatures and I think I'm ready to make the plunge, but I've noticed there are Water Mixable Oils out there and was wondering if anyone has used them and had any thoughts on them with water compared to regular oils and white spirits. Also do they store ok?

I know there may be some need for spirits in cleaning, I'll starting with Scenery so will have the opportunity for plenty of experimenting.

Part of the.upside of oil washes is that mineral spirits have a much lower surface tension than water, allowing them to flow much more readily for panel lining eg. While i havnt tried using water soluble oils I imagine you will be losing some of those upsides in order to have a more familiar workflow
