Hello! I was wondering if I could get some advice/ideas on how to go about making sure my highlights stay consistent when working with different types of paint? I want to use a doom fire magenta on the main armor as a contrast color, but when it comes to the gold/silver trim and leather pouches/belt, what is the best way to go about painting them to keep the intensity of the highlights that the zenithal is creating.

I’m new to the hobby so take this with a grain if salt.

Pick a light source direction. This is where you should spray your zenithal from, and ultimately where your brightest highlights will be. Continue with this on all parts of your mini.

Considering the above, I think you have applied the White from too many angles to consider this zenithal priming. Essentially (or rather in most cases) you would spray only from the top of the mini down, which leaves the underside basically black (or whatever your other primer colour is). That is if you have chosen your light source to be above your mini (aka the sun).
Thank you for the advice! However I am asking more towards actually putting color down AFTER the highlight prime has been completed 🙂 I made some headway but I think I’m going to try my hand at wet blending to bring back the highlights after an edge wash
