I struggle with a little bit of a hand tremble at times. If anyone has tips for improving hand stability, I'd love to hear them. I already have a handle with a hand rest.

I rest my wrists against my desk and use a painting handel. It also helps for me to rest my pinky on the to of the model

If your hand is still trembling too much with the hand rest, try pushing your hand into the hand rest. That might help stabilize yourself a bit.
