Does this scheme work?

I'm working on a new scheme and trying to incorporate color theory.
I have a red/orange primary color for chitin
pale grey/green skin
low luminosity/saturation teal for weapons

I added some pink wash to selective areas to try and sell the skin as an organic material

I'm just not sure about it and can't say why....

I like the color scheme. 👍 I would only consider glazing back toward red the orange parts on the flat areas only (the ones on the edges are very nice)

Nice texture on the carapace!
