I bought dirty down rust a while ago and was disappointed by how glossy the finish was. Particularly since the bottle says “high matt”. I decided to give it another try on a broken mini, and after letting it dry over night it looks like this. Supper glossy. This is particularly a problem since last time I tried to matt varnish it it reactivated and still looked glossy. Anyone else have experience with them? Do you have the same problem? Any help is appreciated

Dammit I answered my own question. I spent quite a while shaking the bottle and making sure it was fully mixed, but after I posted my question, I looked at the bottle and noticed a mixing ball for the first time. I shook it around and it was stuck. After unsticking it and properly shaking the bottle i applied the effect to a different area and it dried matt 🤦♂️ oh well
