Well, it happened, the streak died at Day 256. It was kinda a conscious choice, because the last couple days felt forced, and I think I could use a break, actually. I’m really proud of 256, though; as soon as I started painting, I said I’d do it every day as part of my efforts to learn & improve. That doesn’t change, and I’ll be back at it soon. 😎

Have you played The Thing boardgame from recent years? I don't recall that it's quite as mysteriously personally fraught, but the infection mechanism was a real brute because it boils down to a possible traitor game

I have not! But it sounds similar and fun-I like a good traitor mechanic. We played all 3 Nemesis games over three days, and in one, I pulled these objectives:

be the only survivor
kill player 2 or be the only survivor.
I was Player 2, so…
I almost made it work, too. 😆 it was so great. I’ll have to look into TheThing!
