So I have recently taken delivery of my first proper garage kit, a copy of the lovely Sirene from Devilman by Takashi Tsukada.

This being my first venture into painting something of this scale, I hoped to ask any of the more experienced painters what pitfalls to avoid.

Thanks in advance for any wisdom you wish to share.

Use an airbrush, paint everything in as many pieces as needed

If you don't have an airbrush ID suggest using some larger paint brushes that would allow for larger coverage. ( not saying like wall size paint brushes but the ones you'd find for other painting hobbies). You could still use your smaller ones for details.

I'd also suggest when base coating everything to try to be clean and avoid being sloppy and getting paints on areas that shouldn't be of that other color. This will make it easier and less work for you later.

What an awesome piece. Where did you buy it from?
