#Airbrush issue what does this indicate?

Secondarily, is there any easy way to emulate this for weathering? If it wasn't the primer doing this, I would be ecstatic because it would look amazing with a color paint over a metal at the weathering step
None? Seems like it would clog the needle pretty quickly.
Mission Models claims to be no flow improver / thinner, yet it clogs the needle 100% of the time
It won't
Push the PSI up to like 20-25
Also are you shaking it really well?
It looks like you're applying way too much as well
How was the surface prepared? One (unlikely?) possibility being there was soap remaining in that area, or release agents if it wasn't cleaned first?
I've had Vallejo flow improver make paint behave really weird. You shouldn't use it as a thinner because it is not the same, the flow improver is a retarder
4:1 even is too high of a ratio imo and you'll have problems with the paint not curing. Also, it does seem like the model wasn't washed or rinsed properly and there's some residue on the surface that could be acting weird
Yeah i second/third that the surface of the mini may not be preapred correctly. Try taking a glaze of acrylic paint and see if the surface causes the paint to bead up.
