Hi! This is one of my first times painting OSL to this scale, and this dramatic and was hoping to get some opinions and advice if at all possible! The white in the flames is just base coating for yellow and that in the flames.

I think the osl could be a tad brighter since the source is so bright
The smoke needs some as well, light doesn’t pass through smoke

agreed, very cool indeed. I would suggest to maybe try to match the colour tone on the flaming whip better with the colour tone where the light from the whip is on the model. It might just be the pictures, but it seems you have a pale whiteish tone on most of the whip, and a rather warm yellowy tone on the wing etc. For me this does not look quite right. I would suggest using some more of the yellow on the whip.

Oh I'm actually planning on going over that with yellow and orange but I wanted the white base so it would be vibrant!
