Hello im a new painter for miniatures (mainly warhammer underworlds) is vallejo worth buying? And if so which are the main paints I need (budget 40 euros), I want like a list of oils paints and such what is worth and what isnt (mainly gonna paint Garrek's reavers currently)

Vallejo Model Colours are definitely a very good range of paints.
I would say, for the moment, to avoid the Vallejo Game Colour range.
I would recommend this set: https://acrylicosvallejo.com/en/product/hobby/sets/basic-en/basic-colors-usa-70140/
Unfortunately you're unlikely to find it for less than 40€. Most prices I've seen are around 43-44€
I'm not sure I understand your question about oil paints, as these above are acrylic, water based paints.
It's definitely possible to paint with oil paints but these are generally a lot more expensive, and will require mixing to get the right colours.
Also one thing: you need a primer, before applying paint.

Anything in eu preferably Greece?

#

And by oil I meant like a shade or wash nulm oil they call it in gw I think

And Vallejo is a spanish company so should be easily available in Europe.

Currently this is the list of paints im probably gonna buy should I change something?

#

Like a better colour from a different company at the same price and a better oil or shade

#

(air primer removed cause I just saw its for air brush)

#

And would this be better?

The primer is fine. An alternative is to buy some cans of plastic primer from a hardware shop.
Regarding your list of paint I'm a bit puzzled.
You can replace the Nuln oil by Army Painter Dark tone.
I guess the skin wash is for paintig skin. In that case I would take more something like Vallejo Basic skin tone or Sunny skin tone if you prefer something a bit darker.
The Scarlet red has a not very good coverage. I would prefer Flat red.
(Note: the swatches on Vallejo website are not accurate at all. If you want to know how a colour really is, please have a look there:

Thanks for that, currently im buying the paints to paint my garrek's reavers with a human like skin color and more down to earth colors but abit bloody

One thing: the skin wash is not a paint. It's a very diluted paint used to wash the surface. It will pool in recesses and crevices, but won't really cover anything else

Okay okay, Ive painted only one warband ans that was with guidance so yeah I out the wash right after im done with the colors and such and do I just put it on flesh colors or everywhere?

steel bay

Correct

placid oxide
#

And are the brushes of army painter worth it?

steel bay
#

As you're beginning, I would advise to buy some cheap synthetic brushes in a craft/art store.

placid oxide
#

Okay okay would better brushes matter tho?

steel bay
#

It definitely matter, when you have enough experience. At the beginning, cheap synthetics will do. After a while, you can start looking at a few Kolinsky sable brushes for detail work, but these are expensive (10-15€ a brush)

Okay okay thank you alot

#

When u say dark tone for AP u mean ink one or the normal one?

#

Ans what are the effects, and a good silver/Metal colour for swords and such

steel bay
#

This: https://shop.thearmypainter.com/eu/wp1136p
It is the equivalent to Nuln oil. It's a black wash.
For a good silver I would say Vallejo Metal colour silver. The Metal colour are the best metallics I've seen and used

placid oxide
#

So wp1136 seems to be the same thing as this I get it?

steel bay
#

Yes, same code means same product

placid oxide
#

Okay good thank you, and I dont seem to find the metal silver only the 32ml ones

#

Or this one

steel bay
#

If Silver is not in stock, you can use Chrome. Shinier but still quite similar to Silver.

placid oxide
#

Found that

#

Is this red the correct one?

steel bay
#

That's an ink, not a paint.
Look for code 70.957 Vallejo Model Colour Flat red

#

Found it on another website and cheaper by 30 cents

#

Thing is this website only has vallejo

Check out Rosemary & Co for nice quality cheap brushes, not sure what the shipping would be from the UK to Greece.
Their series 33 and 441 sable brushes are good value, and the synthetic range are great
