#Bugs and suggestion from FQA tester.

Hi. I have compiled a list of bugs and suggestions to make the game better. I worked on many AAA mmorpg like New world, Throne and Liberty, Lost Ark and much more. I hope that my expertise can help make the game even better than it is!

Here is the list:

Bugs:

  • The Jumping feature often result in desync with the server location. Please do a polishing pass on the Jump.
  • Please fix the market search so that it does not search for all items containing the words, but the same name item: example, Small cloth bag and Cloth Bag. Searching for Cloth Bag still shows the Small Cloth Bag because it contains the same words, but it's not the same item.
  • Please fix the market's selling tab, where it displays the wrong average price and the lowest price of an item. We have to manually search every item in the buy tab first to know the true pricing at this moment before selling, which hinders the gameplay drastically. Also, newer players tend to relate to the UI that says the average price. If that price is broken, the economy will break in a matter of days.
  • Please consider fixing the issue that teammates prevent us from teleporting to a location by being over the teleportation point. The cursor currently favors the teammate over the location.
  • Please fix the current frequent stuttering within Duels or Siege modes. Often, the server has a stutter and makes a lag spike, resulting is loosing the control of the character for 0.8 sec approx.

Suggestions:

  • Please add a sorting for Bags and bank. (Button to auto-sort stuff by category)
  • Please add a Sort check mark to see only the recipes we have the materials for at this moment to craft them. (like the Not Boosted one)
  • Please add a way to use the materials from our bank if we are in the vicinity of the capital, or a depot box anywhere, if it doesn't allow for exploits.
  • Please consider changing the red section of the Alternative Power-bar from Red to Green in the section where the damage is optimal. Using red to indicate an optimal range is counterintuitive.
  • Please consider changing the current item lock for skins to item type. The skin could be colour-locked based on the faction, but every faction could wear them. This would open up the market range for Skin users and prevent the same kind of backlash the first iteration of GV had with skins. People were buying skins, thinking it would work like most games nowadays, only to realize they cannot use their skins without a specific item name, and they felt robbed.
  • Please consider changing the behavior of the Reinforcement UI. Currently, we have to reopen the window between each attempt as the blower doesn't react to subsequent clicks after an upgrade. Please make it so we can do multiple reinforce back to back within the same UI opening.
  • Please change the Bastion button at the Architect Table, as it doesn't seem like a button that we can click on. Make this an obvious button somewhere else than atop the screen.
  • Please add back the Nation Chat. Not being able to communicate in-game with our nation ONLY is a problem as we cant hide the communications from the enemy factions.

I'll continue to take note of certain stuff along the playtest but I wanted to dump what I had so far.

True! adding this up now!
(I learned today that /an (announce) and /fr (the letters depend on the language set on the game) are shared across servers and region of the world, but not between factions. Having a Our Server, Our Faction only chat would help to see what really affect us only, and help building comunity. Infiltration is about to become a real problem when the game becomes free for everyone.)

Suggestion part 2:

  • Please add a Mine logo at the Hordun Mine and all gathering fields on the map that are currently missing a logo on the world map.
  • Please make it so that when the character is pulling a Wheelbarrow, we can interact with City Gates without letting go of the wheelbarrow.
  • Please consider increasing the speed at which the Building Mortar, Building Stone and Building Wood are generated by the bastions. We currently have to wait between each spawn, especially when filling a huge wheelbarrow.
  • Please make it so that the coop match Frontier pass has shared loot for all teams, the bags that are dropped from enemies. Since it's a coop match, make it coop loot so that everyone who participates shares equally the rewards.
  • Please consider adding Proximity chat, with an on/off option in the settings.
    - Please consider implementing an afk kick in Valley of the dead. Players can remain idle and get some coins byu being idle. when the game becomes free to play, we will have an insane amunt of bots queing instantly and all remaining idle to get coins and sell them. There needs to be some sort of safeguard for this if we do not want the matches to be filled with bots.
  • Please add a setting to turn off Tutorials for used players.
  • Please increase the speed at which the Map can be zoomed in and out. It currently takes multiple mouse wheel swings to go from lowest to highest.
  • Please add a Setting to see only our Guild Players Nametag instead of everyones, option to remove the title, guild name etc (customize the tags) and also see the HP tag WITH the nametag instead of one or the other. (overall, more nametags options)
  • Please add a guild bank.
  • Please add Guildmates icons on world map.

Bug Part 2

  • Please fix the constant stuttering from the server happening at the moment. For example, when players exit VoD, it creates a stutter for everyone on the server.
  • Please add some enemies that are related to Quests (Main Quest and Side included). Some quest have half the enemy required in the zone, which requires to kill the whole packs twice. When the game launches, there's so many people trying to run the quest that some quest steps takes 30 min to complete instead of 30 seconds due to competitivity between all players.
  • Please add Body Block with enemies, the amount of time I have an enemy that passes through me and backstab me is beyond ridiculous. We have body-block between allies, but not with enemies.
  • Please fix the exploit where players that get killed in Sea Wraith can re-enter. We got killed by a team we killed minutes ago cause they attacked us on second boss when we thought we were safe. Same players. Unsure how they do this.

  • Please remove the 3min timer on the Help/General Announce channels, and the Announce for our language as it hinders drastically the community building/helping of new members. I get it that is to prevent bots to spam the chat, but there are other means to prevent those bots than hindering the whole player base's communication.
  • Please add a Streamer mode that would Hide all sensitive info like the Email visible at game launch.

Players can continue to enter sea wraiths until you kill the cheifman boss guy just before you get to the hippo area.

If you press forward and side button your can clip through your enemy because of server desync.

Valley of death coins are determined largely on participation. You get virtually none for having zero points. (Or should)

Building materials spawn used to be better when server performance was better but i think the new server they are testing this round is struggling to keep up hence alot of the issues.

You cannot see other nations chat as far as im aware. If you try to hear anything typed from another nation it turns up as nonsene because its technically already another language. Nation chat is pretty much annoucement chat

Bastion button needs to be abit lower i agree. This was annoying as heck to realize. Thank goodness for youtube tutorials lol

I agree that skins should have a work through but the reason that they are locked towards only t4 and t5 are so that you can identify if someone has decent armor or not (really matters in the loot zone)

Not being able to see landmarks underneath map markers is the most annoying thing in the world 100 percent would be a nice qol

we don't need bigger easier buttons, we just need a quest for newbies that explains the bastion system(and others), and take out all the repetitve boring quests that teachs new players nothing.

just have a quest where it makes u go to a flag and give long nails or something, and then makes u upgrade a wall.
Also why is there no quest where a new player has to spawn ram from siege camp and break a gate?

Tutorial Main story quests could really benefit a rework yes.
a deeper combat review, Quests requiring to test the game mecanics like bastion, wheelbarrows from the supply center, Bastion use etc.
It definitely does not require us to have 10 steps of Gather Mushrooms and Wood etc. this is way redundant and does not provide with actual knowledge
