Trench lava cave should be a buildable option for a few reasons. 1. you can have turrets in trench so you keep them in the cave. 2. The exception to that would be a fob which you cant leave fobs anyway so that would solve that problem. 3. the cave is nowhere near any of the actual eggs spots so if you just avoid it like you would when passing any other base location even if there were turrets outside you wouldnt get shot. I dont think there should be any reason to ban this new base location as it is not actually broken for any reason.
