#BAN POPCORNING

@woeful socket While I don't want to advertise other servers, some other big communities manages to handle that somehow. By putting items back where they were.
So admin time to pull a save and then transfer shit or rollback? We have boosted rates. Raid for pvp, loot is easy
I think a logging plugin would be enough with some admin tools on top of that. But i don't know if you have any devs in the team.
We have several. But still to much admin time wasted to prove it was popcorning.
I think it's for the devs to figure out, make admins life easy.
What i think is feasible is having a command that check a tribe items in a specific time frame. Be it item transfer, or item dropped by members.
But the work for the devs may be to high of a challenge. I think it's worth for you guys to brainstorm about it and see if its feasible if you didn't yet.
If a mod like QOL+ or Pull It works fine, then logging on the server side should have minimal impact
But those are just guesses, i just know other communities have found ways to manage this very easily. It take 3 min maximum for an admin to revert what was lost.
3min against a raid that could take hours online. Seems fair to me
We are not banning popcorning
Maybe the server is to fast paced for that, but where is the fun in early raids if everyone starts to popcorning for the fun of it? Those who get raided will quit, and raiders themselves too.. Not sure what is the thought process behind this no ban rule.
Increase the timer for bags/boxes dropped
This would cause lag
We were doing that on ase. Will on asa when plugin is done
Ban popcorning 🤡🤡🤡🤡 😂😂😂😂
welcome to ark bud. happens anywhere
it’s apart of the game
@left raven Sure mate, but let's be honest, we all like to play on community servers because they "should" be managed better than Official Ark. So i think the question of the game being ark has nothing to do with the community and management of the server.
@woeful socket Thanks.
