yo, are the boosters meant to be broken? there's nothing on the map page that says anything one way or another
@short hamlet
Sorry, I'll try to fix that. I ported this in a hurry
Should be fixed now
cheers, i haven't tested all of them but the important ones do work
there's some sort of weird visual bug with stairs though
@short hamlet
some odd looking areas i've found
i do have tf2 installed
the map is slightly darker in general i think
i saw the updates to the map, looks much better now 👍
though i do think it could use more checkpoints
In general for bhop maps, we want checkpoints to be at least 10sec from each other (for a high rank run). So you can't really fit more in
i see
well i do remember the previous zones being in different spots (though not necessarily better) so idk
also how high ranking are we talking?
e.g. take the top run and check that the checkpoints are roughly at least 10 sec between (unless they're doing some insane skip or something)
hmmmm well this map has a lot of skips, though some are more insane than others natch
there will be other ways to get time splits in the future, so we want to be conservative with how many checkpoints we use
alright 👍
seems like you can touch the start zone trigger to reset the boosts in the first area without restarting your timer (assuming this is unintended)
Zones:
Normally we want checkpoints to be spaced at least 10 sec from each other on an optimised run. The top run does some nutty skips that brings the time down to 4 sec on the last checkpoints, but I think it's fine in this case.
If you want you can remove the last checkpoint to fix this, but fine to leave.
Up start zone height to 256u or higher (default if there isn't geometry to align to).
Great zones and spacing otherwise.

Lumper:
Seems like the func_buyzone can just be removed.
There are still some official valve assets packed, so run the asset removal job again. Looks like all of those are either hl2 (which the game includes) or tf2 (which most of the other assets require) anyway.
Tools -> Map Summary in Lumper shouldn't mention any official assets afterwards.

Submission Page:
Since the map was first released in another game, the submission type should be Port (hover the questionmark icon for more info).

In-game entities:
In general in bhop, reset triggers should retain speed. But it's fine if you want to reset speed since it's your map. It's a bit inconsistently set, so I'd recommend going through the list in entitytools and making sure you are happy with each of them.
