I will note that we will have segmented runs in the future and that will cover this case, and you can submit to that leaderboard

But if you are expecting it to compete on regular leaderboards, correct, what fingerprince said, it will not count

you can also pull a +edible and leave the game open for that entire time (note that your replay wont be submitted if its too long, because of deliberate file size/replay length restrictions)
