My suggestions

I never played the game, but i will sugest some things as a old school 1.6 / tf2 player :).

• Let only approved maps give you a Exp.
• Check for more cool mappers in GameBanana.
• Use only VAC.
• Add a voice chat to the game.
• Every Beta tester would to get more 2~3 more extra beta copies would to make the game more popular (like valve did with dota 2).
• Make a Workshop.
• Make a cool music player in game, like spotify or something.
• A better profile information like country flag, map created, avatars, etc.

most of the things you mention are good ideas and in fact already planned, so i'll touch on the rest:

• VAC doesn't really fit with how the game is structured (no game servers), we'll explore other anti cheat measures instead
• i don't think there a simple mechanism to distribute keys like that even if we wanted to
• we won't use the workshop for maps, but the system we will have will be similar
• is there anything that an ingame music player would give you over using spotify/youtube music/deezer or whatever directly?

Yeah i mean you just can play whatever song you want from yt / spotify. (not only custom built in songs)

also if you have a problem to use songs from youtube / spotify because copyright or something you can make a mode that read it from the drive (mp3 / wav files)

ohhh and ofc if someone cheating he would to get hwid ban too. (f2p game easy to make another acc and cheat again)

VAC in general is very outdated and bad, I would not recommend that for anything. And the game is free to play but the account must be valid with steam to submit times, so a required £4 or so must have been already spent on the account in some way on Steam.
