#Gamestate Integration as in csgo?

I'm wondering if such a system will ever be implemented into Mmod, since it allows very interesting ways of customizing streams and other modules externally of the game.
I've tried to mess with it for surf gamemode (csgo), but the usage is very restricted since you cannot get data from plug-ins (surf-timer for example).
One of the biggest + to me is that it allows to play HUD-less, but still let me display stuff through my stream overlay.
You could also make funny stuff like fireworks when improving a PB.
